75th Anniversary commemoration of the
U.S. National Science Foundation

On May 10, 2025, NSF commemorated its 75th anniversary. In the many months leading up to the anniversary, large scale strategic and creative events, activities, and communications were planned and executed. brand policy and initiative

As the visual team lead for NSF, I was charged with auditing, expanding, and strengthening the NSF brand. We conducted surveys of internal and external communities, refined and expanded the NSF logo and visual identity, developed and implemented a brand policy, and produced comprehensive brand resources and education materials. Rebrand for research facility site

When the site of the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico was repurposed for new science and research activities, it required a strategic rebrand that united and excited the local region as well as the science community. We developed the visual look and feel for the environmental design, audited existing site branding, photographed new visual assets, collaborated with local colleagues and vendors, and produced replacement signage throughout the site.
