Campaign and multi-event design for milestone anniversary

On May 10, 2025, NSF commemorated its 75th anniversary. In the many months leading up to the anniversary, large scale strategic and creative events, activities, and communications were planned and executed. I led the creative team charged with designing materials for the campaign and planned activities. Though administration priorities required pivoting many of our plans, our efforts to engage the community and provide communication resources for their commemorative events ensured fruitful recognition of the milestone anniversary.

A cohesive design treatment for the 75th anniversary and sub-branding of related activities and campaigns drove our development of extensive visual assets including digital graphics, presentation slides, templates, pins, coins, patches, shirts, fact sheets and more.

Academic institutions, research facilities, and museums utilized the NSF STEM Day templates and visuals in their event promotions, significantly bringing awareness to the milestone anniversary and local opportunities to celebrate science. This proved critical for public engagement when NSF scaled down the activities that the agency was able to pursue.

Below are examples of how external users implemented the 75th anniversary and NSF STEM Day design treatments in their activities.
